In 2004, the NW Film Center commissioned Nick to make a trailer for the 31st Film and Video Festival; Nick instead produced three short trailers in order that repeat audiences would be treated with a new one each night. The pieces created highlight themes of the festival in short story form: learning from rejection, adopting new technology, and the relentless driving force of inspiration.
